Obituary for Ruth E. Mariotti
RUTH E. MARIOTTI
BELMONT -- Ruth E. Mariotti, 71, of the Irish Settlement Road and Largo, FL., died Wednesday (April 16, 2003) at home following a long illness.
She was born October 5, 1931 in Eldred, PA., a daughter of George Albright and Florence Smith. In 1950, in North Tonawanda, she married Nicholas Mariotti who survives.
Ruth was a former resident of North Tonawanda. She enjoyed reading, gardening and oil painting.
In addition to her husband, with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in December, she is survived by, five daughters, Diane Mariotti, Susan Mariotti, Joanne Mariotti, Cheryl (Edward) Wingate and Karen Mariotti, five sons, Nicholas (Lindalee) Mariotti Jr., David Mariotti, Michael Mariotti, Paul (Leilani) Mariotti and Mark Mariotti, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Belmont, where there will be a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in St. Mary's Church, 5 Milton Street, in Belmont with the Reverend Father Dennis Mancuso officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
