Friendship-Nile Historical Society
The purposes of the Friendship Nile Historical society:
To disseminate and encourage a greater knowledge of the history of Friendship, Nile, and their environs.
In order to accomplish that goal, the historical society meets once a month (2nd Saturday of every month from 10:00am to 11:00am) to review any open items, share news, articles collected about the history of towns. The meeting is attended by the board members, members and the Town Historian. The meeting is held in the Fire hall meeting room and is open to anyone interested in attending. The Town Historian represents the Friendship-Nile Historical society in meetings around the region and reports back to the historical society about any pertinent items during the monthly meeting.
We are chartered by the State of New York Education Department as a Historical Society, as a Not for Profit in NY State.
