Mrs Ella Clarke succumbs at home: Services tomorrow.

ALFRED STATION-- Mrs. Eleanor (Ella) Pierce Clarke died this morning at her home in Alfred Station. She was 88 years old.

Born in the Town of Alfred, she lived in here present home for 68 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Alfred Station for 70 years, an honorary member of The Union Industrial Society and a charter member of the Alfred Station Women's Temperance Union.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Hadsell of Almond, Miss Rubie Clarke of Alfred and Miss Rena Clarke of Alfred Station; a son Merl B. Clarke of Alfred Station; a sister Mrs. Leon Lewis of Alfred Station; brothers, Fred and Ira Pierce both of Alfred Station, and Dr. Harrison Pierce of La-Mirada, Calif.; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and sic great-great grandchildren.

The body is at Landon Funeral Home in Hornell. Funeral services will be conducted at the Second Seventh Day Baptist Church of Alfred Station at 2 PM, tomorrow.

The Rev. Victor Skaggs and the Rev. Albert Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Railroad Valley, Town of Alfred.
