Obituary for Clarence O. Cornwell

 

Clarence O. Cornwell, lifelong resident of Willing, died suddenly last night at 11 o'clock following a stroke. Death came soon after he was brought to Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Willing on January 18, 1885, a son of Reuben and Delia Fanton Cornwell, he passed his entire life in that township and 24 years ago married Bessie Daley. She preceded him in death on June 1, 1928.
Mr. Cornwell leaves two daughters Mrs. Margaret Walker and Miss Dorothy Cornwell, both of Willing, and two sisters, Mrs Frank Cline, Independence and Mrs Mack Brown of Willing.
He was united with the Methodist Protestant church of Stannards. A prayer service will be held at Embser's Funeral Chapel at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, followed by final rites at 2 p.m. in the Stannards M. P. church, the Rev. W.E. Windsor officiating. Burial will be in Stannards Cemetery.
