Benjamin H. Simons of Phillips Hill Dies: Services Friday.
Belmont-- Funeral Services for Benjamin H. Simons of Phillips Hill, who died at 8:30 o'clock last night ay his home will be held in Wellsville Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Embser Funeral Home.
The Rev Robert W. Klatt of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Wellsville will officiate and burtial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The son of Austin W. and Saphronia Holden Simons, he was born at Avoca on Sept. 15, 1888. Mr. Simons had resided on Phillips Hill for the past 28 years. He was a farmer by occupation.
He was married on June 3, 1914 to the former Stella Sartore, who survives with two sons, Raymond Simons of Wellsville and the Rev Eldyn Simons of Nunda, a daughter Lillian Simons of Allentown; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Fox and Mrs. Josephine Vunck, both of Avoca.
Mr. Simons was a member of the Belmont Methodist Church.
