Obituary for Clara J. Quick
Funeral Services for Mrs. Clara J. Quick of Fords Brook, who died at 4:30 this morning at her home will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her late home. The Rev. Clair Statham of the Harrison Valley Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Stannards.
Mrs. Quick was born at Willing on May 7, 1881 the daughter of Daniel E. and Minerva Fanton Cornwell. She had lived her entire life in the house in which she died.
On May 22, 1897 she was married to Bert O. Quick who survives with two daughters, Mrs. H. Murray Hogue of Hinsdale and Mrs. Claude Gowdy of Wellsville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildern. A brother Arthur Cornwell preceded her in death.
