MRS IVAN OSMUN DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Lavada M. Osmun if this place died at the Cuba hospital last Thursday, May 15.
She was born at Black Creek on Feb. 3, 1876, the daughter of Alan and Elizabeth Carpenter Rogers. She was a member of the Cuba Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Ivan J. Osmun a son Vivan H. Osmun; one sister Miss Sylvia Rogers, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Loveridge funeral home. The Rev. Ralph C. Hutchinson, pastor of the Methodist church officiated,and burial was made on the Cuba Cemetery
Robert Campbell, Rufus Campbell, Harry Adams, Bert Clayson, Leonard Benjamin and Donald Benjamin acted as bearers.
Note: Mr. and Mrs. Osmun, had a daughter, Eleanor, who died at 10 years as a result of being hit by a car in 1929.
