ALLENTOWN--Ralph L. Potter died Sat. (Jan. 10) in the Jones Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Allentown, where he lived all his life, on July 1, 1886, he was the son of William and Emma Wilcox Potter.
The recipient of a 50-year award from the Ebenezer Oil Co. upon his retirement in 1966, Mr. Potter was the past president of the Allentown School Board and was clerk for many years. He was a life member of the Allentown Fire Co., and had received a 50-year pin from the Allentown I.O.O.F., Lodge No. 46. He was a member of the Scio Church of Christ.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Kautz, Bath and Mrs. Emma Moss, Westville, NJ and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 today at the Mullholland-Crowell Funeral Home, where funeral and committal services will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday by the Rev. Enos P. Nay.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
