Ivan B. Lawrence, of Allentown, died February 3, 1973 in St. Francis Hospital, Olean after a brief illness.
He was born, Aug. 16, 1885 in Richburg, a son of Albert and Francine Brown Lawrence. He married the former Grace Reynolds in Olean in 1912. Mrs. Lawrence died in 1966.
He is survived by one nephew, Neil Lawrence of Richburg. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Allentown.; Macedonia Lodge F&AM, Bolivar and past president of the Allentown Fire Department; a member of the Richburg Fire Department and served as an assessor for the Town of Alma for over 32 years.
Friends may call at the Shaffner Funeral Home Inc., Bolivar from 7-9 PM today and 2-5 and 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home, Thursday at #:30 PM with the Rev. Ralph Hutchinson, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiating.
A Masonic Service will be held at the Funeral Home Wesnesday at 7 PM.
Biriual will be in the Richburg Cemetery.
