PATRICIA G. LYNCH
WELLSVILLE—Patricia G. Lynch, 66, of Yorktown, VA., formerly of Wellsville, passed away Sunday (March 16, 2003) after a brief illness.
Pat was born in Daytona Beach, FL. on September 20, 1936 to Starkey and Florence (DePalma) Green.
She grew up in Scio and was a graduate of Scio Central School.
She was married to Carl F. Bissell, of Wellsville, who tragically predeceased her in 1962.
She was the Village of Wellsville meter maid at one time. She also worked at the Employment office in Wellsville and in Belmont at the courthouse.
Along with her husband George Lynch, she was the proprietor of the Welcome Inn in Whitesville, NY., for many years.
She lived for several years in Middletown, NY., working for the New York State Library System. After her retirement Pat traveled to live near her children and grandchildren moving to Charleston, SC, Niceville, FL., and Yorktown,
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by four children, Kevin (Cindy) Schreiner of Navarre, FL., Sheila (Greg) Davidson of Yorktown, Stephen Schreiner, of Fairfax, VA., and David (Christy) Schreiner of Lawrenceville, GA., eight grandchildren, Brendan, Benjamin, and Shawn Schreiner of Navarre, Andrew and Eliza Davidson of Yorktown, and Justin, Caitlin and William Schreiner of Lawrenceville, two sisters, Mary Lou (George) Knight of Venice, FL., and Sue (Bill) Hargarther of Nokomis, FL., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Amory Funeral Home in Grafton, VA.
