Mrs. Lois E. Hadsell
ALMOND--Mrs. Lois E. Hadsell , 81, of Almond died MArch 2, 1975 in Bethesda Hospital, Hornell following a long illness.
She was born in Railroad Valley, now Alfred, Jan 10, 1894, a daughter of Roscoe and Mary Eleanor Pierce Clarke. She married Clifford Hadsell., Jan 21, 1931, he survives.
Mrs Hadsell had lived in the Alfred area all her life. She was a member of the Alfred Station Seventh Day Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Elmer Chandler of Rochester of Rochester; and Ivan Chandler of Canastota.; two-step sons, Milton Hadsell of Almond, and Leon Hadsell at home; three step-daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Fairchild of Elmira; Mrs. Bernice Plank of Bath; and Mrs . Robert (Delores) Dunham of Andover; one sister, Miss Rena Clarke and one brother, Merle Clarke, both of Alfred; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted today at 1 PM, at the Alfred Station Seventh Day Baptist Church. by the Rev. Rex Zwiebel, pastor.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery Almond.
