ALLENTOWN, NY -- Mrs. Ada Allen Conable who had been a resident of Olean for thirty-five years, returning here only a few years ago, died here Saturday night (January 22, 1950), following a long illness.
She was born in Allentown and, except for the time spent in Olean had made her home here during her life.
A daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Riley (Melvina Price) Allen, Mrs Conable married Donald Conable, who died August 18, 1935.
She is a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Olean.
Mrs. Conable is survived by two sisters, Mrs Fred (May) Boyd of Allentown and Mrs. A. E. (Kate) Ewing of Olean, and two brothers, Floyd Allen of Canton, OH and Claude Allen of Allentown.
Funeral services will be held at two-thirty o'clock Wednesday afternoon (January 25, 1950) from the home of her sister, Mrs..Boyd, here and bi rial will be in the Allen Cemetery Association here.
