Baker/Hinds Cemetery, Town of West Almond, Allegany County, NY
(This cemetery was known in the County list as a number only without a name. Since the two predominant names are Baker & Hinds in the community surrounding the cemetery.....until it is proven to be a better name, it stands. RT
This Cemetery, located on Private Property on the Baker Valley Road, Town of West Almond NY, is in very rough condition with many stones. Most of the stones are scattered amongst the trees along with corner markers. There are still more to possibly find.......the list is only a beginning. Many of the stones are very hard to read or impossible. The deaths recorded on these stones are very early to Allegany County and all were the earliest Pioneers to settle in the valley.
