No list for this cemetery is known. No copy of information is on file at Town Clerk's Office as verified by me through contact with the Clerk. The line listing of existence of Cemetery is in Cemetery Book at Allegany County Historian's Office, but, no information of burials.
A statement from Town Historian (2005) follows: I am sad to say that the Hooker Cemetery has "disappeared." As the story goes, whoever was farming the land nearby just kept making the field larger and stones just kept disappearing until there were none!!
In 1986 Mrs Mildred Reynolds stated that the cemetery was located on the Clair Merrick farm, 1\8th mile from the intersection of Wolf Creek Road and the Hooker Road. Wolf Creek Rd. is off from Rt. 305. The cemetery was on the South(?) side of the road, the side closest to 305.
