"Allen Cemetery is located on Wigwam road near the intersection of West Hill Road, west of Peavy Road in the town of Allen. It is across from what was the Fisk farm and was originally called the Fisk Cemetery. The first notation in the record book is dated September 30, 1851, first burial was 1850. The following list is taken from the record books of Allen Cemetery as well as from headstone transcriptions. The information was compiled by Betty Bledsoe, Charles Sumner and Robert Dorsey of the cemetery association in 1998. Many of the stones in this cemetery are very readable, very few are illegible.
