Elisha C. Green, M.D., was born in Lebanon, Conn., in 1817. In 1838 his marriage with Miss Harriet Maxon, of Friendship, occurred. Dr. Green graduated in 1839 at the Pittsfield Medical College, Mass, and came to Alfred, from Wisconsin, in 1852. Mr. & Mrs. Green belong to the Seventh-Day Baptist Church.
