G. ISAAC HARDY

G. Isaac Hady died Friday night in his home, Stannards-Hallsport Road, Wellsville RD, following a long illness.

Born in the Town of Alma, March 13, 1888, he was the son of the late George and Esther Webb Hardy. Mr. Hardy, who had been employed all his life in the oil fields in the area, also had resided for a time in Allentown.

A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wellsville, he was a charter member of the Allentown Fire Department and a life member of the Stannards Fire Department.

He is survived by his widow, Lela Kervin Hardy, three daughters, Mrs. Woodrow (Beatrice) Davis, Mrs. Erwin (Margaret) Bucholtz, Mrs. Neil (Dorothy) Mott, all of Wellsville; a son Robert G. Hardy, also of Wellsville, two step-sons, William Kingley of Akron, OH and Harold Kingley of Bradford, PA, a sister, Mrs. Daisyanne Lyman of Warsaw and 14 grandchildren.

Friends may call today from and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the west wing of the Embser Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 PM, with Elder Herbert Coe of Wellsville officiating.

Interment will be in Stannards Cemetery.
